This is a very skilful portrait. I know how difficult it is to paint in wax.

you're right.... your portraits are done on high skill level,this one reminds me Paul Cezanne's portraiture ( at least some of his.. )...it's sort of impressionistic portrait and I have a feeling there is an edge of following cubism .... I like it!
