This disease effects the family as emotional, depressing and confusing uncertainty. The blue is the mood. The scratches depict the frustration, as well as the missing of the person, physically and mentally. The drips are the tears of emotion as well as a barrier to the regular world for the patient as well as the family. Also, there is a hidden profile within the blue profile representing the strange new world. What is real?

Thank you for your comment , I have started a series of painting on the subject. It effects 1 out of 8....more than cancer.
My series can be seen on www.fineartamerica.com
I am hoping to promote awareness...if I can keep my strength.

Hi Heather
I also keep coming back to look at your person at the painting.
It's the person I know, but she doesn't anymore.
The whole atmosphere is so right!
Thank you
